Jiaxing Yuewu adds 30 FastForm machines to expand metal AM capacity

FastForm 3D, headquartered in Yancheng, China, has reported that in September 2025, Jiaxing Yuewu – a Nanhu-based Additive Manufacturing service provider founded in 2020 – purchased thirty FastForm 3D metal AM machines. The order significantly increased Jiaxing Yuewu’s metal AM capacity, expanding from its initial base of two machines.

“In a sluggish overall market, the 3D printing industry has bucked the trend with undeniable momentum,” stated Wang, CEO of Jiaxing Yuewu. “Data-wise, domestic stock of traditional equipment like CNC machines stands at 500,000-2 million units, while 3D printers are only in the thousands – meaning over 90% growth potential. For the handboard industry and end-product printing services, growth ranges from 150% to 300%, and our company targets 300% growth in three years. Metal 3D printing’s market is more than large enough; 30 devices are just a start – we plan to hit 100 units of capacity within one year.”
When asked why the thirty FastForm machines were selected, Wang shared, “ROI was the top priority. We’re pragmatic – faster payback means less operational pressure. Before buying, we ran plenty of quality and efficiency tests on sample parts. We only went ahead when we confirmed the payback period could be under 12 months, based on our order prices and FastForm’s output efficiency. Beyond the numbers, several other factors sealed the deal.”
“First, straightforward and efficient communication. I’ve dealt with many traditional industry bosses who focus on zero-sum games – gaining at the other’s expense. But FastForm’s team is practical and transparent. No mind games, open pricing. Whenever we flagged an issue, the sales team would escalate it to management, and the solutions they provided always fully addressed our needs,” Wang added. “Second, a focus on tech innovation and small details. We ordered a large batch of printers delivered in phases. Even between shipments just days apart, we spotted many small upgrades – like the powder overflow cylinder’s pipe changed from single to dual inlet, plus adjusted pipe tilt. They also added a base for the heavy waste powder cylinder, which used to be hard to handle after unscrewing. Another nice touch: a mirror inside the build chamber that made the space look much roomier. These small refinements really stood out to us.”

“Third, the right balance between capital and industrial operations. Companies split on leveraging capital – some use it as a game with industry as a facade, others reject it entirely. I fully agree with FastForm’s approach: they’ve found the perfect middle ground. I’m confident FastForm will thrive,” Wang continued.
Wang described mass production of metal Additive Manufacturing as “a technological revolution – enabling people to create more products with less labour. The mass production of 3D printing is exactly in line with this trend. Whether it’s AI or intelligence, they free people from mechanical, repetitive production work, allowing them to focus on spiritual, heartfelt, and creative tasks.”
