ITA postpones Titanium Europe conference until May 2021

April 6, 2020

The International Titanium Association (ITA) has announced that the 8th annual Titanium Europe 2020 conference, which was scheduled to take place in Dublin, Ireland, from May 4 – 6, 2020, has now been postponed until May 3–5, 2021.

In an official statement, Jennifer Simpson, Executive Director, International Titanium Association, wrote, “These are challenging times as the world prepares for and responds to the coronavirus outbreak. Like you, we have watched the rising numbers of those infected with concern and we wish a swift and full recovery to those who are ill. There is still so much we do not know about this epidemic. The health issue is real and the short term business impact has been significant. The Dublin hotel has offered us the opportunity to postpone the upcoming Titanium Europe conference to May 3–5, 2021. Out of an abundance of caution, we have decided to accept their offer. Postponing the event is something we decided after much thought and careful consideration and did not take this issue lightly.”

She added, “In the coming days we will be in touch with all registered attendees to discuss reimbursement options and any exhibitor who would like to retain their current exhibition space may keep their current reservation. The new Housing link and registration website will be revised and updated in the coming days. Speakers will also be notified and given priority on next year’s agenda…Please know your safety continues to be our top priority and we thank you for your cooperation and understanding in this matter.”
