Freemelt Holding AB, Mölndal, Sweden, has published its third-quarter FY2022 results. As the group was formed in mid-June of 2021, there are no comparative figures for this period. Net sales for Q3 were reported as €736,000.

“Freemelt continues to develop as a commercial company, delivering a strong result with sales of approximately SEK 8 million [€736,000] in the third quarter,” stated Daniel Gidlund, Freemelt CEO. “Summed up to the two previous quarters, sales so far this year are approximately SEK 24 million [€2,200,000], which is about the same as Freemelt’s total revenue from the company’s founding in February 2017 until the beginning of 2022.”

During the quarter, a Freemelt ONE machine was delivered to the University of Maribor, Slovenia; Georgia Institute Technology and Carnegie Mellon, USA. The group was also granted a patent for its ProHeat® technology.

The company recently launched its industrial eMelt® Additive Manufacturing machine at Formnext 2022. The eMelt is expected to be ready for delivery to customers by the end of 2023.
