Kymera International achieves silver EcoVadis medal

Kymera International, a specialty materials company headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA, has once again achieved the Silver EcoVadis Medal. The award is said to mark another significant milestone in the company’s sustainability journey, and reflects its commitment to environmental responsibility, ethical business practices, and sustainable procurement efforts.

Kymera states that it has made significant strides in enhancing its sustainability practices over the past year, not only maintaining its silver rating but also increasing its overall EcoVadis score. This improvement both demonstrates the company’s ongoing commitment to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and places it among the top 25% of companies assessed by EcoVadis.

Kymera has expanded its certification process to include newly acquired sites that have been part of the company for over a year, this reflects its commitment to embedding sustainability throughout the organisation. This inclusive approach looks to ensure that all of the company’s operations align with its ESG goals, driving positive change on a global scale. The company’s latest score ranks it in the 82nd percentile.

The company has reportedly placed a strong emphasis on enhancing IT security and improving ethics and sustainable procurement practices. These efforts are integral to its broader sustainability strategy, ensuring that Kymera operates ethically, responsibly and with the utmost respect for the planet and its people.
