The Sinter-Based Additive Manufacturing Workshop, organised by Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Technology and Advanced Materials (IFAM), is scheduled to take place September 4 – 5, 2024, in Bremen, Germany. The event will feature international speakers from industry and research, who will provide insights into the latest advancements and industrial implementation of the respective technologies.

Fraunhofer IFAM’s Sinter-based AM Workshop series is emerging as one of the key industry meetings on metal Binder Jetting (BJT) and further sinter-based AM processes. The workshop programme will be supplemented by interactive elements, a tabletop exhibition and a component award competition.

The main topics addressed in this workshop will be:

  • Industrial implementation of metal Binder Jetting
  • Other SBAM technologies: Lithography-based Metal AM and Cold Metal Fusion
