Free seminar aims to cover software and hardware requirements for Additive Manufacturing
June 21, 2017
Two seminars have been organised that aim to cover the complete software and hardware solutions required to introduce Additive Manufacturing to a business. Delivered by Dassault Systèmes, Intrinsys and Renishaw, the seminars are set to take place June 28th at Renishaw’s Staffordshire facility and October 26th at Renishaw’s Gloucestershire site.
The free to attend events are a spin-off from the UK Intelligent Engineering Forum (UKIEF). Topics discussed will include design rules for Additive Manufacturing, a practical guide to starting and growing AM in your business and generative design (Topology Optimisation). Print simulation, process optimisation, manufacturing simulation and hardware integration will also be discussed.
Delegates can also take a tour of Renishaw’s Solution Centre when attending the seminar. Renishaw Solutions Centres provide a secure development environment in which to build knowledge and confidence using metal Additive Manufacturing technology.
Equipped with the latest AM systems and staffed with knowledgeable engineers, the Solutions Centre offers a fast and accessible way to rapidly deploy this technology in a business.
