BEAMIT IT Group’s PRES-X enters partnership with GPAINNOVA to distribute surface finishing technology

May 25, 2021

PRES-X, part of the BEAMIT Group, based in Rubiera, Italy, has announced a strategic partnership with GPAINNOVA, a Spanish company specialising in the manufacturing of systems for surface finishing in healthcare, automotive, industrial engineering and aeronautics sectors. The partnership enables PRES-X to become an official distributor of GPPAINNOVA brand DLyte’s DryLyte® dry electropolishing technology.

With PRES-X, BEAMIT Group aims to support its customers in the application of strategies focused on sustainable productivity, while ensuring an integrated value chain throughout the process, from metal powder sourcing by the Sandvik Group, to the highest surface finishing quality.

“We are very proud to be the first company to offer its customers an eco-sustainable solution representing a shift in high-precision finishing operations, especially for extremely hard and abrasion-resistant materials, pushing these operations to an unprecedented dimension,” stated Andrea Scanavini, PRES-X president and BEAMIT Group General Manager. “At our centre in Rubiera, we have already installed three machines and we are now eager to show our customers how the DryLyte process can make production more efficient, guaranteeing extreme repeatability, reducing costs, and shortening delivery times.”

Pau Sarsanedas, GPAINNOVA co-founder and CEO, commented, “The partnership with PRES-X strengthens the presence of GPAINNOVA in Italy, because it allows us to offer a better service, while boosting its growth and internationalising our patented surface finishing technologies, DryLyte and MURUA.”

Scanavini added, “The DryLyte finishing process, included in the technological range already available at PRES-X, completes and enhances our idea of tailor-made solutions for customers: it has been designed to revolutionise the global market. PRES-X Technology Center will be a meeting point where customers will be able to choose between tailor-made services and purchasing the most suitable system for metal processing. This strategic partnership enables PRES-X to offer a complete assistance service through skilled technicians on DLyte installations in Italy.”
