“At Aniwaa, we understand the challenges faced by professional buyers in navigating the complex additive manufacturing ecosystem,” stated Martin Lansard, co-founder of Aniwaa. “Our landscape infographic, combined with our product catalogs, provides buyers with a comprehensive view of all active manufacturers and solutions in each market segment. These insights are invaluable in their journey to make informed purchasing decisions.”

Key findings from Aniwaa’s industry landscape show the popularity of the laser powder bed fusion (PBF-LB) technology in metal AM, with some 50% of manufacturers producing machines for this process. The listing also shows the variety of machines on offer from some companies, highlighting, with Aniwaa stating that 3D Systems offers nine technologies, Desktop Metal listing six technologies in its portfolio and Stratasys, five.

To expand its industrial database, Aniwaa has incorporated the latest ASTM standards and introduced new filtering options, allowing users to refine their search results based on criteria such as country, feedstock format, print materials, and more. The updated marketplace also introduces manufacturer accounts, allowing companies to customise their entry.

“Our goal is to provide manufacturers with the tools they need to succeed in this competitive industry,” explained Lansard. “Our platform serves as a gateway for manufacturers to showcase their products, reach new markets, and ultimately achieve their goals. We believe that by enabling seamless and valuable interactions between manufacturers and buyers active in the market, we are driving the industry forward.”
