America Makes, Youngstown, Ohio, USA, has partnered with RAPID + TCT 2026 to accelerate AM adoption, offering attendees 40% off a conference pass or a free expo pass. The event is scheduled to take place from April 13-16, 2026, at the Thomas M. Menino Convention & Exhibition Center in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. The event will host more than 450 exhibitors showcasing Additive Manufacturing technologies and applications.

The RAPID + TCT Conference will feature nine tracks: Aerospace, Defense, Healthcare, Transportation, Energy, Consumer Products, Process Development, Materials Development, and Essential AM. The 2026 event will include more than 160 technical presentations totalling nearly 100 hours of programming, all reviewed and selected by experts at SME, TCT, and the AeroDef Conference Advisors.

Additionally, the event will feature three Expo Showcases: The AeroDef Manufacturing Showcase, The StartUp Showcase, and The Healthcare Showcase.

The AeroDef Manufacturing Showcase

The AeroDef Manufacturing Showcase is designed to simplify the process of finding qualified suppliers, serving as a centralised hub for technology providers, service bureaus, and equipment builders. Exhibitors will include Siemens and VulcanForms. The Center for Advanced Production Technologies at MIT will also exhibit, highlighting its role in connecting academia with industry to develop and deploy new production workflows.

Meanwhile, the Knowledge Bar will host small group sessions led by APEX Accelerators and key exhibitors well-versed in meeting public-sector demands. Here, attendees will have the opportunity to discuss best practices for conducting business safely and securely within the defence industry and other federal departments.

The StartUp Showcase

The StartUp Showcase creates space for emerging players bringing bold ideas, novel applications, and cutting-edge software and hardware to market. On the floor, attendees can meet founders, ask questions, and explore technologies at their earliest commercial stages.

Among the exhibitors will be Niche 3D LLC, New Collar AI and Unlayered 3D. For attendees seeking early visibility into emerging technologies, the StartUp Showcase offers the opportunity to evaluate new concepts and examine their potential use cases in real time.

The Healthcare Showcase

The Healthcare Showcase will foreground advances in industrial Additive Manufacturing for medical devices, surgical tools, and biocompatible materials, uniting researchers, surgeons, engineers, clinicians, and manufacturers who are working at the forefront of AM in healthcare. Exhibiting companies will include Carbon, Park Dental Research Corp and NanoVoxel GmbH. At the Knowledge Bar, experts will facilitate conversations exploring key challenges and emerging innovations in healthcare AM.
