America Makes issues final MMX invitation

America Makes, Youngstown, Ohio, USA, has issued the final invitation to its Members Meeting & Exchange (MMX), scheduled to take place in Canfield, Ohio, from August 4-5.

This year’s event will consist of two days of discussion and strategic collaboration focusing on the challenges and opportunities shaping the role of Additive Manufacturing within the US defence industrial base (DIB), workforce and supply chain, and on how to translate concepts into action.
What to expect at MMX
- America Makes’ annual State of the Union, offering insight into new funding and contracting pathways that will guide future partnerships and project activity, as well as how to get involved
- Experts from Cybersec Investments, Defense Logistics Agency, Floyd Technology Consulting, M2F, MITRE, Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Sustainment Group, and Northrop Grumman will lead discussions on emerging Additive Manufacturing innovations and critical barriers still to be addressed
- Leaders advancing AM technology, workforce development, and the industrial base will take part in panel discussions
- Industry leaders from General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Divergent Technologies, and GE Aerospace will offer perspectives on transformative AM applications reshaping their sectors
- Recognition of this year’s Distinguished Collaborator and Ambassador Award recipients
- Youngstown Innovation Hub for Aerospace and Defense Networking, intended to introduce attendees to the Youngstown Innovation Hub
- Social activities such as a welcome reception, golf, and a group run
