Alloyed partners with NTT DATA and NTT DATA XAM Technologies

Alloyed Ltd, based in Oxford, UK, has announced the formalisation of a business alliance with NTT DATA XAM Technologies, one of Japan’s leading Additive Manufacturing companies, and a capital alliance with NTT DATA Corporation.

This partnership further strengthens the existing collaborative relationship between Alloyed and XAM, expanding the application of innovative manufacturing methods through material development, productivity improvements and new customer propositions. By harnessing Alloyed’s Engine, Architect, and ABD digital platforms, XAM will become the exclusive commercialisation arm for Alloyed’s technologies in Japan. Meanwhile, Alloyed will have access to XAM’s technologies, including their expertise in advanced process monitoring, maximising AM efficiency and material utilisation, for commercialisation in the rest of the world.

In parallel, NTT DATA, with over 150 years of history and innovation, has subscribed to Alloyed shares, whilst Alloyed has subscribed to shares in XAM. By mutually investing in this capital alliance, it was stated that all parties are demonstrating their commitment to strengthening the relationship and achieving the outcomes of the business alliance.
