ALD Thermal Treatment receives Nadcap accreditation

ALD Thermal Treatment Inc USA, a division of Germany’s ALD Vacuum Technologies, has announced that it has received Nadcap accreditation for heat treatment at its Port Huron, Michigan, USA, facility. The accreditation demonstrates that ALD is able to adhere to aerospace material specifications for multiple alloy families related to stress relieving, low-pressure carburising, gas & solution nitriding, neutral hardening and vacuum heat treatments.
“We are very proud of the Port Huron team for their hard work and relentless pursuit of excellence, which are evident in this achievement, and look forward to servicing the aerospace industry by improving the performance and longevity of precision metal components,” the company stated.
ALD is now in search of national aerospace contractors and component manufacturers.
