AKL’18, the International Laser Technology Congress, scheduled for May 2 – 4, 2018

The organisers of AKL’18, the International Laser Technology Congress, have confirmed that the event will take place from May 2 – 4, 2018, in Aachen, Germany.
From novices to experienced users, the congress offers insights into the latest developments in the area of laser technology. With more than 600 international participants, including 70 speakers from research and industry, the AKL has established itself as the leading forum for applied laser technology in Europe.
Now in the its 12th year, presentations will cover current developments in laser materials processing in macro and micro areas as well as laser beam development. Additionally, delegates can attend two special forums that address Process Control and Laser Additive Manufacturing.
Between the presentations, an accompanying sponsors’ exhibition, with more than 50 participants, will offer the possibility to share information and make contact with experts from the laser sector.
