Advanced Factories 2020 to take place in Barcelona next month

Advanced Factories (AF2020), an annual summit on industrial innovation will take place in Barcelona, Spain, from March 3–5, 2020. The summit brings together professionals from industrial automation, robotics, machine tools and digital manufacturing with companies specialising in IoT or Artificial Intelligence to discuss the latest solutions from Industry 4.0 and Digital Manufacturing.

Organised by Next Business Expositions (NEBEXT), AF2020 takes place alongside what is believed to be the largest European congress on industrial innovation, the Industry 4.0 Congress. The congress brings together international experts to discuss and implement new business models and develop cutting-edge technological trends around the advanced industry. 

The summit is expected to include 350 exhibitors, with the congress to feature 120 conference sessions from 260 international speakers. There will also be an Additive Manufacturing specific conference session titled ‘Additive Manufacturing: products and à la carte service’. The 2019 edition of Advanced Factories received more than 16,000 CEOs, managers, plant managers, CIOs, specialised technicians, engineers and professionals in the industrial sector.
