Additive Industries, Eindhoven, the Netherlands, has named Addideba Laser & Metal AM, Deba, Spain, as its Spanish sales partner. This agreement adds PBF-LB Additive Manufacturing technologies to its portfolio, which previously included Laser Metal Deposition (LMD) technology, a form of Directed Energy Deposition (DED).

“We are extremely happy to collaborate with Addideba as a partner with a strong expertise in Additive Manufacturing, and we are looking forward to providing our technology to Spanish customers,” stated Stephane Escalier, Business Development Director, Additive Industries.

Additive Industries’ machines provide a high level of reproducibility, productivity, and flexibility. In addition, adopting PBF-LB technology in the manufacturing process can significantly shorten the lead time of spare parts, which is key to reducing logistical movements.

The company’s MetalFABG2 Additive Manufacturing machine offers three possible configurations: core, automation, and continuous production. Configuration options include multiple build chambers, automatic powder removal and automatic powder handling.
