JAS Alloy, a supplier of alloys, carbides and metal powders for Additive Manufacturing headquartered in St. Petersburg, Florida, USA, with additional facilities in California and Texas, has announced Jeff Trosclair as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer.

“I’m humbled and energised by the opportunity,” Trosclair stated. “The manufacturing industry is in the midst of a renaissance, fueled by advances in materials and 3D printing – and JAS is one of the few companies that can produce precision-engineered alloys and carbides necessary for consistent, high-performance results in 3D printing. With our unique combination of creative material engineering, adaptability and consultative approach, the possibilities are endless.”

Founded in 2015 by industry veteran Albert Jasuwan, JAS specialises in the development and application of custom carbides and alloys. The company can supply a wide range of standard alloy powders, as well as offering custom batches designed for demanding applications.

“I started JAS to meet a growing need in the industry for highly customised powders,” stated Albert Jasuwan, Founder and President of JAS. “Jeff has spent nearly two decades on Wall Street and studied all kinds of business models and industry trends. That broad range of experience will enable us to branch out and meet burgeoning needs in a rapidly transforming industry.”

Under Trosclair’s leadership, the company reported it is poised to introduce several new product lines and service capabilities over the next twelve to eighteen months.
