Global Laser Box raises nearly $30 million in funding round

China-based Jiangsu Global Laser Box Digital Technology (Global Laser Box) has announced the completion of a Series A financing round worth nearly RMB 200 million (around US$30 million). According to the company, the round included investment from Qifu Capital, Changxing Investment and Chuangshiji Investment, alongside other investment and government-backed funds.
Global Laser Box stated that the financing will support R&D of its Laser Beam Powder Bed Fusion (PBF-LB) Additive Manufacturing machines, development of an AI-based AM software ecosystem, expansion of production capacity and international sales activities.
The company supplies metal AM equipment for applications including energy storage, consumer electronics, mould and model making, aerospace, medical and automation. It stated that it develops core components including lasers, control systems and software in-house, and that its products have been sold in more than sixty countries.

In June 2026, Global Laser Box launched a desktop metal Additive Manufacturing machine aimed at individual users, small studios and service providers. The company stated that the machine is ready for volume production and delivery. It is supported by the company’s IronNova mobile application, which offers functions including AI-assisted model repair, cloud-based slicing and automated build preparation.
Global Laser Box operates five sites in Yancheng, Jiangsu; Huzhou, Zhejiang; Changsha and Changde, Hunan; and Shenzhen, Guangdong.
Expansion of the company’s desktop metal AM activities could increase demand for smaller quantities of metal powders, including stainless steels, packaged for handling and distribution through retail channels. Expansion of both its industrial and desktop product lines could also create additional requirements for powder parameter validation and consumable supply.
