The European Powder Metallurgy Association (EPMA) has announced that the Euro PM2027 Congress & Exhibition will take place at Firenze Fiera in Florence, Italy, from October 10–13, 2027.

The four-day event will bring together the international Powder Metallurgy community for a technical programme covering developments, research and applications across the sector, alongside a 3,000 m² exhibition representing the global PM supply chain.

More than 200 oral and poster presentations will take place as part of the technical programme, covering Powder Metallurgy technologies, materials and applications. Topics will include:

  • Powders: Production, characterisation, properties and other powder-related topics
  • AM consolidation technologies: Compaction and sintering, MIM, HIP, FAST, Additive Manufacturing using beam- and sinter-based technologies, powder deposition and other processing technologies
  • Materials: Ferrous and non-ferrous materials, light and high-temperature materials, functional materials, hardmetals, cermets, ultrahard materials and other PM materials
  • Applications: Biomedical, aerospace, automotive, energy, tooling and other industrial applications
  • Tools for advancing PM: Testing and evaluation, secondary operations, design and modelling, sustainability and life cycle analysis, health and safety, digitalisation and other enabling technologies

Euro PM2027 is expected to attract industry leaders, decision-makers, researchers, academics and other professionals from across the Powder Metallurgy supply chain.

Exhibition

The Euro PM2027 Exhibition will be open from Monday to Wednesday and will include companies representing the complete Powder Metallurgy supply chain. Exhibitors will include raw material suppliers, powder producers, furnace and equipment manufacturers, tooling specialists and other companies providing technologies and services to the PM industry.

Located adjacent to the technical sessions, the exhibition will provide space for business meetings, technical discussions and networking. Coffee points, lunch facilities and dedicated poster presentation areas will also be located within the exhibition area to support interaction between exhibitors, speakers and delegates during the congress.

Networking and social programme

In addition to the technical programme and exhibition, Euro PM2027 will include a Welcome Reception, Congress Dinner and other social events. These will provide opportunities for participants to meet colleagues, exchange ideas and develop professional connections during the event.
