Jewelry Technology Forum returns with Additive Manufacturing focus
The Jewelry Technology Forum (JTF) is set to return in a new format during Vicenzaoro and T.Gold, taking place September 7, 2026, at the Vicenza Exhibition Center, Vicenza, Italy. The organisers state that this year’s JTF will have a renewed focus on Additive Manufacturing for the jewellery and luxury sectors.
Founded in 2004 by Legor in collaboration with Italian Exhibition Group (IEG), JTF began as a technical and scientific conference dedicated to metallurgy and chemistry in jewellery manufacturing. For its twenty-first edition, the forum will broaden its scope to examine the growing role of Additive Manufacturing in jewellery design, production and business strategy.
Over the past two decades, JTF has provided a platform for technical discussions covering materials, manufacturing processes and innovation across the jewellery industry. The revised format reflects the increasing adoption of Additive Manufacturing technologies throughout the luxury sector and how they are enabling new approaches to product development and manufacture.
The one-day event will bring together researchers, technology suppliers, jewellery manufacturers, designers and brands to discuss advances in Additive Manufacturing technologies and their application within jewellery production. Topics will include developments in AM systems, design for Additive Manufacturing, industrial applications, and case studies from the jewellery and luxury industries.
According to the organisers, the event is intended to explore not only technological developments but also the wider commercial and strategic implications of adopting Additive Manufacturing.
The updated format is intended as a complement to The Vicenza Symposium, the new international technical and scientific conference established to continue the legacy of the Santa Fe Symposium, concentrating on scientific research, metallurgy and materials innovation.
JTF 2026 will also coincide with the opening of the new Vicenza exhibition centre and the expansion of T.Gold, the exhibition dedicated to jewellery manufacturing technologies, which from 2026 will take place alongside both the January and September editions of Vicenzaoro.
The organisers believe the revised forum will strengthen Vicenza’s position as a meeting place for jewellery manufacturing technology, providing an international platform for discussion of the technologies shaping the future of jewellery and luxury manufacturing.
