EPMA announces Euro PM2026 keynote paper winners

The European Powder Metallurgy Association (EPMA) has announced the Keynote Paper Award winners ahead of Euro PM2026, taking place October 11-14, 2026, in Budapest, Hungary. The awardees have been selected by the event’s Technical Programme Committee.

The winning papers are:

• Processing of Plasma Facing Components for Fusion Power Plants by Field Assisted Sintering Technologies
  • Ms Aparna Binu Varghese, Forschungszentrum Jülich (Germany)
  • Session 18 – Field Assisted Sintering Technologies
• Low-Temperature Deposition of Magnetite Fe₃O₄ Passivation Layers as an Alternative to Steam Treatment to Prevent Stress Corrosion Cracking

Each Keynote Paper will be presented in an extended thirty-minute slot, allowing the authors to provide more detail than is possible within standard presentations.
