Liebherr-Aerospace, headquartered in Toulouse, France, announced it will showcase a range of technologies for future civil and military aviation at ILA Berlin, Germany, from June 10–14, 2026. The display will include several additively manufactured components, highlighting Liebherr’s growing use of AM across its product portfolio.

The company reported that a valve block for the Airbus A350 lower cargo door actuation system will be on display, described as the first complex additively manufactured hydraulic component to enter series production.

Visitors will also be able to view an additively manufactured air-liquid heat exchanger. As aircraft electrification progresses, thermal management is becoming increasingly important. Liebherr states that thermal management remains a core area of expertise, supported by a number of patents covering air-air and air-liquid heat-exchange technologies.

The company’s vapour-cycle compressor is a key component in these types of air-conditioning systems for aircraft, helicopters and drones. According to Liebherr, this technology enhances thermal management performance and supports onboard energy efficiency, in particular for additional cooling and in combination with highly efficient heat transfer equipment.
