BLT and Siemens to advance digital factories for Additive Manufacturing

Xi’an Bright Laser Technologies Co, Ltd (BLT), based in China, and Siemens, headquartered in Munich, Germany, signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement during TCT Asia 2026. The two companies plan to engage in a collaboration focused on building digital factories for Additive Manufacturing and optimising the end-to-end process chain.
The signing ceremony was attended by Xue Lei, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of BLT; Yang Donghui, Deputy General Manager of BLT; Achim Peltz, Senior Executive Vice President of Siemens Ltd., China, and CEO of Digital Industries Factory Automation Greater China; and Yao Jun, Senior Vice President of Siemens Digital Industries and General Manager of the Western Region.
The strategic partnership between the two companies was initially established with a cooperation agreement signed in May 2023.
Prior to the signing, the Siemens team reportedly conducted an in-depth review of BLT’s newly launched metal Additive Manufacturing solutions, as well as its industrialisation achievements in sectors such as aerospace, humanoid robots, and consumer electronics.
The partnership is intended to act as a catalyst to explore technological synergies in metal AM and jointly drive the transition of AM from rapid prototyping to scalable, industrial production.
Looking ahead, the companies will collaborate to co-develop deeply integrated digital AM solutions, with the aim of sharing the benefits of intelligent and green transformation with global manufacturing partners.
