XJet expands German presence through 3D-Werk partnership
XJet, based in Rehovot, Israel, has announced a strategic collaboration with 3D-Werk Black Forest GmbH, St. Georgen im Schwarzwald, Germany, which is intended to give German manufacturers a new route to evaluate and adopt XJet’s ceramic and metal NanoParticle Jetting technology.
3D-Werk brings more than 20 years of Additive Manufacturing experience to the partnership and will serve as a Value-Added Reseller (VAR) for XJet’s Carmel system family. It will also introduce XJet technology to its Experience Center, giving manufacturers access to the systems.
XJet has been active in the German market for a number of years, with an established customer base and extensive network in the region. The appointment of 3D-Werk as a VAR marks a strategic step to deepen that presence.
As a Value-Added Reseller, 3D-Werk will represent XJet’s full Carmel system lineup, not as a standalone supplier of hardware, software and consumables, but as part of an integrated solution that includes configuration, application development, workflow guidance, training, and ongoing support. This solution-oriented customer service model reflects 3D-Werk’s consultative approach and s intended to provide manufacturers adopting ceramic and metal NPJ systems with guidance on application identification, implementation and support.
3D-Werk operates across three complementary business pillars: machine and material sales across all major AM technologies for metal and polymer; a parts production service spanning prototyping, small-series, and serial production with full post-processing capability; and an Experience Center where customers can evaluate every technology and process under operational conditions prior to committing to a purchase. According to the companies, this infrastructure positions 3D-Werk Black Forest to give customers from the most demanding industry sectors a practical route from technology comparison and application validation through to production planning and long-term support.
By adding XJet to its multi-technology portfolio, 3D-Werk extends its capabilities into a more specialised class of industrial Additive Manufacturing. XJet NPJ technology opens manufacturing possibilities for parts and assemblies that have been too difficult, uneconomical, or impractical to produce using conventional manufacturing or other additive processes, addressing a well-defined gap in the market. For customers in defence and aerospace, medical devices, and precision industrial applications and other precision industrial sectors requiring specialised support, the collaboration provides access to a specialised ceramic and metal AM capability backed by the application knowledge, process expertise, and technical guidance.
