One Click Metal, Tamm, Germany, and partners imes-icore and i-ProDens, introduced the new Bold Series Dental at IDS 2021, a global trade fair for dentistry which took place in Cologne, Germany, September 22–25. Attendees had the opportunity to discover more about the new CORITEC AM100 Additive Manufacturing machine, along with the CORITEC AMpure screening and unpacking stations.

The Bold Series Dental is based on the Bold Series from One Click Metal. The AM100 and AMpure systems are able to produce up to 250 tooth units per build, with the 45 μm focus diameter enabling fine surfaces and high accuracy – both of which are important quality features in dental production.

The AM100 is compatible with the imes-icore CORITEC 350i and 650i milling machines and is, therefore, well suited for hybrid production from AM and milling for post-processing. The collaboration between the companies means the customer is offered a process chain consisting of data preparation, Additive Manufacturing and milling from a single source.

Material selection is of great importance for production success, and with the i-PROMELT powder, the customer receives a certified and quality-checked powder for the construction of dental applications. Delivered ready to start in the cartridge, the customer can feed the material directly into the machine, without cumbersome filling of cylinders or construction chambers. The powder from i-ProDens has good process and flow properties, enabling optimum surface quality with a particle size distribution of 10-30 μm.

The Bold Series Dental are marketed and distributed by imes-icore. Sales of the equipment are scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2022.
