A Military Additive Manufacturing Summit, organised by DSI Group, will focus on advancing the United States Department of Defence’s capacity to leverage Additive Manufacturing in order to deliver greater operational flexibility to military leaders in the deployed environment. The summit will take place February 7 – 8, 2017, and will be held at the CAMLS / University of South Florida, Tampa, USA.
Through an educational town-hall style forum, DSI stated that it will provide US Military commands, academia and solution providers the opportunity to explore the tremendous role that Additive Manufacturing will play within the US defence industry.
The goal of the summit is to foster a meaningful discussion on how Additive Manufacturing can fundamentally improve the performance and combat capability of US Military units in the industrial and operational environment.
