Meltio, Linares, Spain, has announced its win in the ‘Initiation to Export’ category at the 15th Alas Awards for the Internationalisation of Andalusian Companies (Premios Alas a la Internacionalización de la Empresa Andaluza). Presented annually by the regional government of Andalucía, the ‘Initiation to Export’ category acknowledges the achievements of companies which began exporting goods in the last three years.

“We would like to take this opportunity to thank our employees for the tremendous effort they have done in the past two years as well as their families for their continuous support. Getting a new company started is never easy, especially during a global pandemic, and we are forever grateful for all the sacrifices that have been done by each and every member of the Meltio family. We truly could not have earned this award without them,” the company stated.

Meltio’s Additive Manufacturing machines use laser metal deposition, a Directed Energy Deposition (DED) technology that enables the production of parts using either metal wire or metal powder, independently or simultaneously.

Since its establishment in June 2019, Meltio has signed with over twenty-five partners for local sales, integration, service and support and partnered with many international companies. The company’s aim for the next year is to continue its internal expansion, while welcoming new members to its partner ecosystem.
