amsight among winners of the Digital Innovation Startup Competition

amsight GmbH, Hamburg, Germany, is among the winners of the Digital Innovation Startup Competition, organised by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) in Germany. The award is an effort to recognise the best ideas for innovative business startups based on digital technologies.

“We are thrilled to be recognised among such a competitive field of digital innovators,” stated Dr-Ing Tim Wischeropp, CEO.

amsight’s data-driven solution for Additive Manufacturing was said to have captured the attention of the jury, showcasing the company’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of digital innovation in manufacturing.

Among the key characteristics of amsight’s software that were noted by the jury were:

  • Full digital twin of the Additive Manufacturing process chain in combination with data analytics capabilities
  • A holistic process optimisation is enabled in terms of costs, quality and resource efficiency

Since its inception in 1997, the Digital Innovation Startup Competition has honoured around 500 startups, which have collectively have secured €600 million in venture capital. This year, twenty-one startups were awarded with a total of €307,000 in prize money.
