Freemelt receives first eMELT-iD order in China following Jiuli collaboration

Freemelt AB, based in Mölndal, Sweden, has received an order for an eMELT-iD Additive Manufacturing machine from Jiuli Hi-Tech Metals, headquartered in Huzhou, China. The order, valued at approximately € 450,000, marks the company’s first industrial machine sale in China. Delivery is expected in the first quarter of 2026.

In May 2025, Freemelt entered into a strategic agreement with Jiuli, providing the company with a presence in China’s rapidly growing market, where there is increasing demand for advanced metal components in the medical and energy sectors. The eMELT-iD, ordered at a discounted price, is seen as an important step in strengthening this collaboration further.

“We are pleased that our collaboration with Jiuli has already led to a machine order. This installation enables us to demonstrate the capabilities of our advanced PBF-EB (Electron Beam Powder Bed Fusion) technology and strengthens our presence in one of the world’s fastest-growing metal AM markets,” stated Daniel Gidlund, CEO of Freemelt AB.
