Metal Powder Works Limited (MPW), headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA, has announced the appointment of Dominic Parsonson to support the company’s expansion across Australia, Asia, and the broader Asia-Pacific region.

Parsonson brings more than 25 years of international experience across advanced manufacturing, Additive Manufacturing, and surface engineering. His career spans leadership and commercial roles across Australia, South Africa, Germany, China, and the United States, with a strong focus on translating materials science into practical industrial applications.

Prior to working with MPW, Parsonson held senior leadership roles at Titomic Limited, where he served as Global Head of Sales and Marketing and later as General Manager for the Americas. In these roles, he played a key part in the commercialisation of Cold Spray and advanced metal manufacturing technologies, supporting adoption across defence, aerospace, and industrial sectors. Earlier in his career, he worked with Evonik Industries, gaining valuable experience in scaling advanced materials businesses across global markets.

Parsonson has a proven track record of building regional operations, establishing distributor networks, and negotiating cross-border agreements. With experience across Asia-Pacific and Oceania, and having lived and worked in both China and Australia, he brings a practical understanding of regional manufacturing ecosystems, supply chains, and cultural dynamics.
