Abstract submission deadline nears for PRICM 12 conference on advanced materials
Event organisers have announced that the abstract call for the 12th Pacific Rim International Conference on Advanced Materials and Processing (PRICM12) will close December 15, 2025.
Held August 9-13, 2026, PRICM12 will take place in Broadbeach, Queensland, Australia. The conference aims to provide an engaging platform for researchers and engineers from industry, research laboratories, and academia to present and exchange the latest developments in advanced materials and processing.
The programme will feature plenary, keynote, invited, and contributed presentations, designed to offer participants a comprehensive overview of the current state of materials research as well as insights into future directions.
Accepted abstract themes include:

- Symposium B: Advanced Processing of Materials
- Symposium C: Structural Materials for High Temperature
- Symposium D: Light Metals and Alloys
- Symposium E: Additive Manufacturing

- Symposium H: Electronic and Magnetic Materials
- Symposium I: Biomaterials and their Applications
- Symposium J: Advanced Characterization and Evaluation of Materials
- Symposium K: High-Entropy Materials and Amorphous Materials
- Symposium L: Composites, Hetero-Materials, and Functionally Graded Materials
- Symposium M: Nano Materials and Nano Severe Plastic Deformation
- Symposium N: Modelling and Simulation of Materials and Processes and Artificial Intelligence
- Symposium O: Materials for Sustainability (Corrosion, Coating, Green Steel, Recycling)

PRICM
For more than thirty-three years, PRICM has acted as an international forum for the dissemination of advances in materials and processing. The conference is jointly organised by the Chinese Society for Metals (CSM), The Japan Institute of Metals and Materials (JIMM), The Korean Institute of Metals and Materials (KIMM), Materials Australia (MA), and The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society (TMS).
