UnionTech to distribute AMPro metal AM across Americas

AMPro, based in Melbourne, Australia, has announced a partnership with UnionTech, headquartered in Shanghai, China, establishing UnionTech as its exclusive distributor across the Americas.
Under the agreement, UnionTech will distribute AMPro’s metal Laser Beam Powder Bed Fusion (PBF-LB) Additive Manufacturing machines, gas-atomised metal powders, powder processing solutions, and auxiliary equipment. The partnership will also provide local sales, application support, delivery and service across the region.
AMPro’s metal Additive Manufacturing portfolio comprises nine SP-series machines, ranging from the compact SP101 for research, dentistry and small-part production to the SP1200 large-format machine. The range also includes machines aimed at low volume, medium-scale and industrial production, with build volumes extending up to 1,200 × 600 × 1,500 mm.

The company also offers a closed-system powder-handling range for metal Additive Manufacturing, including gloveboxes for powder removal, powder decanting and sieving units, a vacuum conveyor, powder-drying equipment, and storage silos. The equipment is designed to support enclosed powder transfer, processing, and storage, and AMPro states that the range can be integrated with most third-party Additive Manufacturing machines.
The partnership is intended to support the expansion of AMPro and UnionTech in metal Additive Manufacturing across the Americas and provide customers with access to a broader range of equipment, materials, and local support.
