Solukon Maschinenbau GmbH, Augsburg, Germany, has selected HDC Co, Goyang, South Korea, as its distributor for the country. The move is reported to be part of the company’s goal of enlarging its market reach, following on from distribution deals earlier this year in Canada, the UK & Ireland, and Turkey.

HDC has worked in the Additive Manufacturing market since 1999, when it began as an AM bureau, consulting service and solutions provider. The company also currently distributes EOS in South Korea.

“For years, HDC Co. has been working with the international leaders in the AM industry,” stated Brian CG Seo, president of HDC Co. “By partnering with Solukon, we’re, fortunately, able to offer our customers the top-of-the-line depowdering solution, too.”

Michael Sattler, Global Sales Director at Solukon, added. “Awareness of the need for safe and repeatable post-processing is increasing around the world. We’re pleased to have HDC Co as a trusted partner for the South Korean market who will meet the increased demand for automated depowdering there.”
