EOS M4 ONYX: Exploring a customer-led path to scaling series metal Additive Manufacturing

RENA Technologies Austria, a subsidiary of Germany-based RENA Technologies GmbH, was established in 2020 following the acquisition of Hirtenberger Engineered Surfaces (HES). HES developed the Hirtisation, an automated, wet-chemical electrolytic surface treatment for the post-processing of metal additively manufactured parts.

The Hirtisation process is suitable for mass production in metal AM, offering an alternative to conventional post-processing methods.
