Laser Prototypes Europe Ltd (LPE), Belfast, Northern Ireland, UK, has expanded its metal Additive Manufacturing capabilities with the purchase of another EOS M290. The company has also added stainless steel to its materials offering, in addition to its previously available aluminium and titanium.

In its seven years of experience with metal Additive Manufacturing, LPE has undertaken multiple R&D projects with local firms and universities. This has enabled the company to gain extensive knowledge regarding the workings of the EOS M290.

“It’s been a staple of our service to medical, aerospace and autosport clients,” stated Patrick Walls, Engineering Director. “We’re frequently being asked to print high-complexity, production-grade parts, which clients want to be perfectly repeatable. The M290 delivers exactly that.”

LPE’s service also includes full testing equipment, first article inspections (FAIs) and certificates of conformity (COCs).
