IperionX’s patented technologies can be used to produce low-carbon titanium metal from 100% recycled titanium production scrap, allowing lower-cost prototyping and reduced environmental impact. Recently, the company won a challenge to produce recycled Ti powders for the US Air Force and partnered with Carver Pump to introduce AM pump components into the US Navy’s supply chain. IperionX is also working with Compagnie Financière Richemont SA’s Panerai to produce sustainable titanium watch cases.

The company believes that working with Sears will allow it to build a world-class AM division capable of offering innovative and sustainable Ti components on shorter timeframes for a wide variety of industries, including automotive.
