Amaero International has announced that former National Security Advisor to the United States Lieutenant General HR McMaster has joined as Special Advisor to the Chairman and CEO Hank Holland. In his role, McMaster will advise Holland on strategic and commercial matters, as well as engage on behalf of Amaero with key stakeholders including the US government, Department of Defense, DoD-funded research and development laboratories and defence prime contractors.

“As Amaero gets closer to achieving its most critical technical and commercial milestone, the qualification of Nb C103 powder, it’s important that we position Amaero for commercial success. I have had the privilege of knowing HR McMaster and I could not be more excited about him joining Amaero in a newly created and vital role as Special Advisor to the Chairman and CEO,” Holland commented. “McMaster’s decades of experience in the US Army, the Pentagon and the White House uniquely position him to assist Amaero with addressing national policy initiatives relating to re-shoring critical industrial base and defence production capabilities while bolstering supply chain deficiencies.

McMaster’s appointment signals the continued maturity of Amaero as an organisation, the commitment to provide forward-leaning, bold leadership and the acknowledgement of multi-faceted challenges that face our country and the public-private partnership.”

McMaster’s career has included 34 years as a commissioned officer in the US Army, as well as Senior Fellow roles in public policy and academic institutions. He holds a PhD in military history from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
