Farsoon Technologies, headquartered in Changsha, Hunan, China, recently celebrated its 10th anniversary with a ceremony at its AM Innovation & Industrialization Forum, held in Changsha on October 24, 2019. The event brought together over 200 industry customers, partners, academic experts and Farsoon representatives and featured eleven keynote speeches by AM industry and academic leaders.

During the anniversary ceremony, Hope Hou, General Manager of Farsoon, and Dr Xu Xiaoshu, Founder and Chairman of Farsoon, gave addresses which introduced the company’s roadmap of technological innovation over the past ten years, and looked to the future.

Keynote speakers Dr Stephen Liu, Former Director of Center for Welding, Joining & Coatings Research at Colorado School of Mines, and John Dulchinos, Vice President of Global Automation and 3D Printing at Jabil Group, then presented their insights on AM in academia and industry.

The presentation sessions were followed by a campus tour of Farsoon’s new showroom, application centre, material testing lab, and AM machine and polymer material production facilities. Attendees were also given the opportunity to view Farsoon’s new FS301M metal Laser Powder Bed Fusion (L-PBF) system.
