ATLIX and ACNIS Group establish certified AM process for dental and medical applications

ATLIX, headquartered in Schio, Italy, and ACNIS Group, including its BCS subsidiary, have signed a joint AM Process Quality Certification for dental and medical Additive Manufacturing. According to ATLIX, the certification confirms that its machines, when used with materials supplied by ACNIS Group and BCS, achieve repeatable quality through material-specific process parameters, verified material properties and optimised, coordinated heat treatment.
The certification covers both CoCr, supplied by BCS for dental applications, and Ti6Al4V, supplied by ACNIS Group for both dental and medical use. ATLIX states that for dental labs and milling centres, this certification removes a common bottleneck as machines, powders, and heat treatment are often sourced separately, leaving customers to align the entire process themselves, which can take months of testing and validation.

By working together, the companies provide a certified process chain that enables qualified, repeatable results for crowns and bridges, removable partial dentures, and hybrid substructures, with the same rigorous approach extending to medical applications.
“At ATLIX, we believe that Additive Manufacturing in dentistry, as in the medical field, is a complete manufacturing process, and it delivers its best performance when technology, materials, and process expertise are fully aligned. This shared commitment to process quality is what continues to drive results across both fields, and what makes the ongoing collaboration between ATLIX and ACNIS Group so effective,” ATLIX shared via LinkedIn.
