XJet, based in Rehovot, Israel, has issued a statement announcing the last-minute cancellation of its participation at Formnext 2023, taking place November 7-10 in Frankfurt, Germany. The company said that the difficult decision had been made as a consequence of the ongoing conflict in Israel.

Despite its absence at Formnext, XJet stated that its Europe Business VP Andy Middleton will be present and available to engage with attendees.

“We extend our sincere gratitude for the understanding and support of our partners, customers, and the entire Additive Manufacturing community during this difficult time,” the statement read. “Together, we will overcome these challenges and continue to innovate and advance the AM industry. We look forward to resuming our active participation in industry events once conditions improve.”
