XJet Ltd., Rehovot, Israel, is expected to showcase its expanded range of Additive Manufacturing applications at Rapid + TCT 2019 in Detroit, Michigan, USA. XJet will reportedly demonstrate an on-booth ‘support removal clinic’ where visitors will be able to view the company’s soluble support technology in action. It is also expected to showcase a demonstration part which highlights the capabilities of its NanoParticle Jetting Technology.

“XJet is all about pushing the boundaries of what is achievable with Additive Manufacturing technology, and at Rapid + TCT we have some fantastic demonstrations of this. This year our participation is about showing the US market what NanoParticle Jetting technology can do for the first time in ceramic and metal AM,” stated Dror Danai, CBO at XJet. “Visitors are invited to remove the soluble support material from a metal part themselves. They can also see how the unprecedented NPJ technology enables applications that have, up-to-now, not been possible.”

The applications which XJet will demonstrate during the event have reportedly been made possible due to the technology’s ability to achieve ultra-fine features and complex geometries, along with virtually 100% density. Danai added, “The recently inaugurated AM Centre is allowing us to invest more in R&D in general, and in material and application development, consequently we’re innovating faster than ever before. We’re extremely excited to unveil our latest developments to the US Additive Manufacturing community and discuss how they can be used to improve designs, processes and profits.”

Rapid + TCT 2019 will take place from May 20–23. Further information is available on the event’s website.
