XJet expands AM presence in Asia Pacific and Europe

November 10, 2021

XJet Ltd, Rehovot, Israel, reports that it is strengthening its presence in the Asia Pacific and European regions with the signing of new distributor agreements.

In China, a distribution agreement with Pentatech has seen the installation of XJet’s first two Additive Manufacturing machines in China, which are now operating at Pentatech’s demonstration site in Hangzhou. Further machines are expected to be installed at other sites by the end of the year.

Pentatech is a new company founded by Jun Tang and Dunhe Foundation for reselling XJet AM machines exclusively in China. The company plans to construct five AM centres in cities across China, each showcasing XJet Carmel 1400 AM machines.

“I’ve been tracking XJet’s progress for some time, seeing huge potential for the, as yet, virtually untapped ceramic Additive Manufacturing market in China, plus great opportunity for growth in metal Additive Manufacturing,” stated Tang. “I have excellent connections with many leading Chinese brands, and with the exceptional properties of ceramic and metal materials alongside the unique benefits of the AM process, I see so much possibility for new products. I’m also very happy to associate my business with XJet as a global technology leader and with the team, which represents a significant history in the world of Additive Manufacturing.”

In addition to its presence in China, XJet appointed Lior Meron as Regional APJ Head. Meron’s new position is expected to reflect an increase XJet’s interests across the region, as Meron brings over two decades of experience in global markets, leading the business activities of companies with advanced technologies in the APJ Region.

In Europe, XJet has signed distribution agreements with Tri-Tech 3D, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, UK, and Emetrês, Pontinha, Portugal. Both partners will supply customers in their respective regions with Carmel AM Product System Line, including the metal and ceramic AM systems, as well as materials, local installation, training, and customer support services.

Founded in 2007, Tri-Tech 3D has experience in selling AM equipment and services to various industries in the UK and Ireland including automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, healthcare, consumer goods and more. In addition to equipment, Tri-Tech 3D provides a wider service including consultation, installation, training, customer support and ongoing supply of materials and parts.

“Tri-Tech 3D has a wealth of knowledge and experience in providing the UK market with leading Additive Manufacturing technologies,” stated Dror Danai, CBO, XJet. “In the same vein, Emetrês has established itself with passionate dedication to the customer experience. XJet is all about the details. Emetrês and Tri-Tech match our philosophy and so make ideal partners for distributing our Carmel AM systems in their respective regions.”

Emetrês has over forty years of experience in the marketing of graphic and communication products and equipment, and, in the last couple of years, has added AM equipment to its sales portfolio. The company features departments that accompany the customer throughout the entire process: from consultation to sales, installation and service. Currently, Emetrês has an open demo room at its Lisbon site with a XJet system already installed.
