Vested Metals named one of fastest-growing private US companies

September 2, 2021

Vested Metals International, St Augustine, Florida, USA, a company focused on raw material speciality metals and steel distribution, as well as metal powders, has been named one of the fastest-growing privately held companies in America for the third year in a row. The company is currently listed at 1,361 on the 2021 Inc. 5000 list, reputedly the United States’ most prestigious ranking for independent businesses.

“We have had a 350% three-year growth rate since we were added to Inc. 5000’s list of fastest growing businesses,” stated Viv Helwig, president and founder. “We also went from No. 58 in 2000 to No. 35 in 2021 for the State of Florida. This is a testament to our hardworking team and their dedication as well as the growth in the industries we serve; medical, aerospace, defence, and industrial markets.”

Aside from Vested Metals’ recent Inc. 5000 accolade, the company has recently been named #24 on Jacksonville Business Journal’s 2021 ‘Fast 50’ – the third year in a row on this list, as well. The company also placed as a winner in GrowFL Florida Companies to Watch. Helwig was named as a finalist of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2021 Florida award.

Founded in 2014, Vested Metals International procures metals like titanium, cobalt alloys, copper, brass, and bronze used to manufacture products such as the fan blades of Rolls-Royce aeroplane engines to implant prosthesis used in spinal fusion surgery. The company has also expanded its speciality stainless steel bar offerings and added titanium plate to its portfolio as well as machinery such as a waterjet machine and a fully-automated production saw in its recently expanded facility.
