ULT AG, Löbau, Germany, a specialist in extraction and filtration technology for air purification in manufacturing companies, will now be integrating the PROFINET interface into its cartridge filter systems. The device enables communication with external systems, such as AM machines, allowing convenient evaluation and control options.

The PROFINET interface provides plain-text readings of filter occupancy, power, process gas temperature, error messages, and other operating states as well as status messages and device parameterisation

An integrated memory card for data logging is also part of the new system control, as is the option to connect to cloud services. Further communication systems can also be on supported.

ULT AG will offer the PROFINET interface as standard in its large fume extraction devices.
