May 18, 2016
UL, a provider of Additive Manufacturing training and education, has announced it will present three separate one-day workshops during the Additive Manufacturing Europe 2016 conference and exhibition taking place in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, June 28-30, 2016.
The workshops, Fundamentals of Additive Manufacturing Designs (28 June), Design Strategies for Additive Manufacturing (29 June) and Managing Quality and Safety in Additive Manufacturing (30 June) are intended for facility managers, designers, engineers and skilled technicians.
“We are excited to bring these workshops to Additive Manufacturing Europe 2016. We’ve found the sessions provide tremendous value because we discuss real life AM scenarios, challenges and solutions that are immediately and directly applicable to an attendee’s job,” stated Paul Bates, UL’s lead instructor for the workshops and General Manager of the UL Additive Manufacturing Competency Center (AMCC).
In addition to the workshops there will also be a three-day conference, featuring the latest trends and technologies. Each day will be focused on a different sector, Healthcare (28 June), Aerospace (29 June) and Automotive (30 June), with the emphasis very much on practical case studies.
