Titomic appoints Neil Matthews and Bruce Colter to senior management

Titomic Limited, Melbourne, Australia, has appointed Neil Matthews as Head of Business Development – Repairs, and Bruce Colter as General Manager – Titomic USA, who will both begin employment with the company on May 2.

Matthews is reported to have extensive experience in the cold spray industry and joins Titomic from RUAG where he was the Head of Research and Technology and the Technical Lead for Additive Metal Technologies based in Melbourne. During his eighteen years in this industry he has written journal papers, and books and contributed to books and is a recognised pioneer and industry leader. In 2021 he was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in recognition of his service to aerospace component repair technologies.

Colter is also said to have substantial cold spray experience and will be based in Michigan, USA, where he will be running Titomic’s North American business focusing on growing the business in that region. He has twenty-five years of experience in the digital manufacturing sector including cold spray manufacturing. Colter is a proven business leader having commercialised, grown and rebuilt numerous Additive Manufacturing and advanced manufacturing businesses, most recently SPEE3D America.
