TAT Technologies has announced Summer 2020 dates for its sintering courses, held at the company’s training centre in St. Mary’s, Pennsylvania, USA. The courses are aimed at employees in the PM industry who want to learn more about the necessary fundamentals of the sintering process.

Course 1: Preparation for Better Sintering

July 28–31, 2020

Covering all aspects of preparation of parts and the furnace before sintering, this course will give attendees a clear understanding of what is needed to ensure parts will be properly and thoroughly delubed, oxide reduced and graphite diffused before proceeding to the sintering section of the furnace.

Further details on Course 1

Course 2: Sintering – Ferrous PM

August 3–6, 2020

Building off the knowledge and skills gained in Preparation, this second course will teach students how to guide their well-prepared part through the furnace and achieve a quality sintered result with the least property variation and at higher production rates. Course one is a prerequisite for this course.

Further details on Course 2

For the first time, TAT Technologies has made available an Earliest Bird Discount for students who register by March 15, removing up to $1500 from the course fees. A Very Early Bird discount is also available until April 15 and a final Early Bird Discount until June 1. A multiple student discount of $200 is available for each additional student registering from the same company, and a back-to-back discount of $300 is available for each student attending both Course 1 and 2 in the same period.
