SWISSto12 names Steve Collar chairman of the board

SWISSto12, based in Renens, Switzerland, has announced that Steve Collar has joined its board of directors as chairman. Roland Loos, chairman since 2016, will continue as a member of the company’s board.

Collar brings over thirty years of satellite industry experience, including five years as CEO of SES – one of the world’s largest satellite businesses – and more than six years leading O3b Networks from initiative funding through scale up, constellation launch and commercial success as the fastest-growing operator in the industry.
SWISSto12 has developed patented Additive Manufacturing technology intended to disrupt the design and manufacturing of RF antennas; developed satellite users terminals including active electronically steered antennas deployed on hundreds of airborne, maritime and ground platforms; and deployed thousands of products operating in space from LEO and GEO. With over 40% CAGR revenue growth, the company has developed footprint across Switzerland, Europe and the USA, including over 5700 m2 of production areas.
