Sundar Atre to lead Additive Manufacturing activities at the University of Louisville

Dr Sundar V Atre has joined the University of Louisville, Kentucky, USA, as Endowed Chair of Manufacturing and Materials. Atre’s research group has generated over 160 publications, seven issued and licensed patents and over twenty intellectual property filings related to powder and polymer processing.

His research background allows him to strongly connect to areas of excellence at the University of Louisville in Additive Manufacturing as well as microscale and nanoscale technologies. Atre will lead the University of Louisville’s activities with the Digital Manufacturing and Design Innovation Institute (DMDII).
