SLM Solutions to demonstrate metal Additive Manufacturing at AMUG conference

SLM Solutions Group AG, headquartered in Luebeck, Germany, has announced it will be giving a live demonstration of its SLM® 500HL quad laser metal Additive Manufacturing system at this year’s Additive Manufacturing Users Group (AMUG) conference in St. Louis, Missouri, USA, from April 3rd-7th, 2016.
Participants at the largest user conference for Additive Manufacturing technologies in the US will see first-hand how the compact system with its metal-based AM technology offers what SLM Solutions claims is the fastest build rate in its class. The Quad Laser technology (four 400 W) and the patented dual-beam technology increase the volume construction rate per time unit by up to 80% compared with a dual laser system.
