SLM Solutions to showcase its SLM280 2.0 3D Printer at TCT Asia exhibition

SLM Solutions Group AG, Lübeck, Germany, will showcase its SLM®280 2.0 Additive Manufacturing system for industrial use during TCT Asia 2018, Shanghai, China. SLM Solutions also states that it will showcase the complete process chain (closed loop) of Additive Manufacturing, from data generation and Selective Laser Melting to powder recovery and reprocessing. 

The SLM 280 2.0 has a build space of 280 x 280 x 365 mm and is said to be one of the most powerful systems in its class, with a laser output of up to 2x 700 W. During the three-day event,  specialists from SLM Solutions will reportedly be on hand to answer questions on generative manufacturing and provide insights into the latest developments in SLM technology. 

Stefan Ritt, SLM Solutions’ VP Global Marketing and Communications, stated, “At TCT Asia, SLM Solutions will once again underline its reputation as a pioneer of Additive Manufacturing. We are pleased with the increasing interest in TCT Asia and want to contribute to supporting the next generation of intelligent industrial production with our additive technology.”

The company will be available at booth N1-F20 in the exhibit hall, with a team available consisting of representatives from the company’s Shanghai branch as well as additional staff from Germany and Singapore.
